Neighborhood Shim Sham Shindig!

Get your tap shoes ready (or just your happy feet!)—Music House is celebrating National Tap Dance Day with two joyful community events full of rhythm, movement, and connection.

We’re calling it the Neighborhood Shim Sham Shindig, and you’re invited! Whether you're brand-new to tap or have been dancing for years, this is your chance to join neighbors of all ages for open workshops, live performances, and a family-friendly dance party. Together, we’ll learn and dance the Shim Sham, tap dance’s beloved national anthem. Current students who are learning the Shim Sham in class this spring are encouraged to bring their family members, friends, and neighbors to share what they have learned and spread the fun.
