Dare to Dream at Music House
What happens when young people are given space to dream big? Creativity grows. Confidence builds. The impossible starts to feel possible. Every great artistic journey begins with a dream and that belief has guided Music House for 75 years.
To celebrate our 75th anniversary as a performing arts school in Chicago, Music House is proud to present Disney’s Dare to Dream JR! Our signature, once-in-a-generation anniversary production.
This multi-disciplinary musical revue follows a group of trainees on their first day at a fictional Walt Disney Imagineering Studio. When one trainee realizes they’ve lost the ability to dream, the group is challenged to explore imagination, creativity, and collaboration together. Through beloved music spanning generations - from Coco and Encanto to Frozen II and classic Disney favorites - the show brings to life themes of teamwork, resilience, and the power of dreaming boldly.
At its core, Dare to Dream JR! is about young people stepping into a creative space, finding their voices, supporting one another, and discovering what’s possible when they work together. It is everything Music House has stood for since its founding: music, movement, theater, and collaboration woven into one shared experience.
