Ashley Trumbo
While Ashley Trumbo has been officially working full time at Music House since 2011, she spent her whole life “working” (or play working with her sister/co-director Allison) at Music House as the daughter of Richard and Jeanne Trumbo, owners since 1983. She is thrilled to be the Director of Music House, working at her lifelong home. She graduated from University of Iowa with a double major in Psychology and Italian Language and Literature. Ashley is passionate about performing arts education because she has seen the impact that learning music, dance, theater and performing on stage has on a person. She believes that performing arts education should be made available to everyone and makes it her mission to bring it to as many people in the city of Chicago as possible! On her downtime, Ashley plays violin, drums, banjo (and likes learning new instruments!) and enjoys taking tap dance classes, doing yoga, learning Spanish, crafting, making soap, and is always finding new hobbies.
