Dare to Dream Jr.

Music House presents Disney’s Dare to Dream Jr! We are proud to celebrate our 75 year anniversary with a multi-disciplinary theatrical production. This exciting production will bring together students from across artistic disciplines to celebrate creativity, collaboration, and the joy of performance.

As artists and educators, we recognize the importance of performing as part of a child’s education. Dare to Dream Jr offers students a unique opportunity to collaborate with fellow performers while developing confidence, storytelling skills, and stage presence in a supportive ensemble-based environment.

About the Production

Dare to Dream Jr is a musical revue about a group of trainees arriving on their first day at a fictional version of the Walt Disney Imagineering Studio. They are tasked with exploring, discovering, and dreaming together. As they learn to collaborate, the show features music from over a century of Disney films—both classics and newer favorites like Coco, Encanto, and Frozen II—highlighting themes of imagination, creativity, teamwork, and the power of dreams.

This production will bring together the following Music House disciplines:

Why Attendance at Rehearsals is IMPORTANT!

We are excited that Music House students will be part of a multi-disciplinary production featuring dancers, musicians, actors, and vocalists all sharing the stage together. Because this is the only time all groups will rehearse together in this setting, consistent attendance is essential.

During rehearsals, students will learn important staging details such as entrances and exits, spacing, and placement in relation to other performers. This time on stage also helps build confidence and familiarity before the performance. In addition, teachers, as well as sound and lighting teams, need to see all performers on stage to make any necessary adjustments for a smooth and cohesive production.

Please review the schedule and inform us if your child will not be in attendance. All rehearsals are closed to parents to help avoid any distractions. Thank you very much!
