Anna Johnson

Anna Johnson (she/her) is an interdisciplinary performer, musical composer and visual artist. Her creative work is centered around intimacy and interrelation as they manifest on bodily, emotional and spiritual registers. She received a Masters of Fine Art from the Performance department at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2023 and a BA in Studio Art from Macalester College in 2014. As an arts educator, Anna believes in the innate creativity capacity of every student, and emphasizes play, experimentation, improvisation and collaboration. She aims to cultivate learning spaces that foster meaningful relationships based in fun, care and connection.
