Athena Kopulos

Athena Kopulos (she/her) graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Drama with a Dance minor. She is currently teaching pre-jazz/pre-hip hop at Music house. She has been seen onstage around the Chicagoland area and is currently part of the work-study program at Visceral Dance Center and training in aerial arts at the Actors Gymnasium. Athena loves teaching early elementary school dancers, and believes in the importance of celebrating progress over perfection. In Athena’s downtime, she enjoys word puzzles and spending time with her little orange cat. Athena strives to create a safe space for students to explore and grow not only as dancers, but as people.
