Bethany Watt
Bethany Watt (she/her) graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music in 2001 with a BM in Musical Arts - Violin with concentrations in pedagogy and voice and honors in music history.
Teaching Philosophy: As a violinist trained in the Suzuki Method, I believe that every child can learn music! Music is best approached by doing - listening, singing, and playing. All skills must be broken down into manageable steps that combine to make beautiful music. My goal isn't to create musicians (though that is a result); it is to create beautiful humans who love music and creating. Music learning happens best in a home where music is listened to and explored. In the ideal situation parents are actively involved in their child's learning and practicing.
