About Ms. Emma:
Emma’s own musical journey began at a young age, performing with classical ensembles such as the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra at Wheaton College, the Aurora Symphony Orchestra, and the Kishwaukee Symphonic Orchestra. Beyond her classical roots, she enjoys performing solo classical piano as well as jazz and blues. Her diverse background includes performing with ukulele ensembles like the Madison Area Ukulele Initiative (M.A.U.I.) and the Ukulele Society of Door County. Currently, she performs locally in Chicago with The Rust Riders, a rag-tag country and folk group. ​

With more than eight years of teaching experience at Music House, Ms. Emma offers a holistic approach to violin, piano, and ukulele instruction. She believes that students thrive when music is integrated into their everyday lives, and she customizes every lesson to meet the unique needs of the individual. Her primary goal is to foster the confidence and independence necessary for lifelong musicianship, emphasizing that practice, dedication, and determination are the essential keys to success.
