About Mady:
Mady is a teaching artist and theater-maker based here in Chicago, IL. She has worked with various theater companies throughout the Chicago land as a theater educator and youth director.

Most recently, Mady directed a new adaptation of Robin Hood at Mudlark Theater Company in Evanston.

Mady's main goal as an educator is to create a classroom environment in which students feel inspired to make brave choices. In her classroom, she wants to excite students to try something new! Most importantly, Mady seeks for students to understand how theatrical skills such as projection, ensemble building, and stage presence can be used beyond the stage!

Outside of work, Mady directs and acts! Mainly, she produces work through her theatre company Lady Dog Theatre Co., which she founded alongside Elise Piliponis, Rachel Wade, and Music House's own Peri Griffiths! Beyond theater, she enjoys walking through Logan Square, playing video games, and getting overly passionate about HBO tv shows.
