He studied audio engineering at Azmyth School of Music Technology in Indianapolis, while also teaching Violin since 2017 in and around Central Indiana and is now teaching at Music House! Sam has been playing the Violin since 2011 when he got started in Middle School, attending every after-school music club he could find! Sam grew up learning how to read and write music, as well as perform blue-grass in his hometown of Zionsville, Indiana. Later, in high-school he was the first chair of his orchestra, and along with winning ISSMA competitions, he also played in the Indianapolis New World Symphony Orchestra. Sam began teaching shortly after he graduated High School in 2017.

Sam loves and has experience working with students of all ages, including teaching Early Childhood Music Education. He believes that fostering a love for music should be the number one goal when it comes to music lessons. Sam loves to create personalized goals for his students, as everyone is different when it comes to learning a new instrument. He believes that everyone should continue their music passions long after the lessons are over. Sam also believes in teaching students how to read and write music, and has experience teaching ear training with the Suzuki method, as some students find that is the best way to achieve their musical goals.

Besides teaching music, Sam loves to produce his own electronic music while working with record labels producing, mixing, and mastering all kinds of music. He and his fiancée also love spending time with their two cats, as well as exploring Chicago!
