Sydney Mattmiller

Sydney Mattmiller (she/her) received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Contemporary Dance Performance and Choreography from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee and is currently teaching Hip Hop at Music house.

Teaching Philosophy: Collaboration is one of my favorite aspects about being involved in art, and how we can inspire and support each other throughout the process. I believe that finding, expressing, and sharing joy is how we are able to find liberation and community. I am a gentle teacher who loves learning from my students’ drive and creativity. I intend to bring joy and comfort as a community member, and bring ideas of building rigor and strength, in mind and body, as I find both are important.
