From beginner to advanced, we have a place for all students. Our classes are customized to your level of expertise which allows opportunity for individual growth within our program. Dance is essential in developing coordination, refining motor function, and building teamwork skills. We proudly offer ballet, pointe, tap, and hip hop classes. Music House Dance Company provides our dance students an outlet as a means to use dance to reflect and find power in community. Which style is the right fit for you?

Nurturing & Positive Teachers

Music House has a staff of seventy-six incredible teaching artists. Our teachers are highly-trained and passionate about arts education, bringing their knowledge and enthusiasm to every class they teach. Teachers focus on building a strong rapport with their students, helping them blossom into the most confident and creative versions of themselves!  All Music House teachers have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in their field, extensive real-world experience and are background checked.

Students in our dance classes will participate in a Dance recital.

Recitals will have a $75 Participation Fee that will be processed on January 15th.

If you wish for your dancer to not participate in the next recital, fill out this form before the January 15th processing date.

If you wish to Opt-Out of future Music House Dance Recitals, please fill out this form again before the next processing date.

Enrollments between a processing date and a performance date would be ineligible for participation.

*Please note that if you are enrolled in more than one dance class you will be charged per costume, however the maximum charge will be for two costumes total.

$25 Registration Fee per family

45-50 minute weekly classes: $84/month

55-60 minute weekly classes: $90/month

75 minute weekly classes: $112/month

90 Minute weekly classes: $119/month

  West Rogers Park Studio ABT NTC Ballet Level 1-2 This class is part of our ABT NTC track and is designed for students ages 8+ who are beginning their pre-professional ballet journey. In this 90 minute ballet class students will focus on establishing proper turnout, spine, hip alignment at the ballet barre, graceful and rhythmic dancing. Typically, students remain at this level for 1-2 years before advancing to the next level.   West Rogers Park Studio ABT NTC Ballet Level 3 with Pre-Pointe/Pointe In this class, student ages 10+ advance to ballet level 3 upon teacher recommendation. Teachers are meticulous in making this recommendation because students will begin their pre-pointe/pointe journey at this level. This is an exciting milestone, but ensuring the safety of each student is our top priority. Student are required to attend two ballet classes a week for 90 minutes to build a strong foundation for pointe work. This last 30 minutes of the class will be dedicated to pre-pointe or pointe work. Dancers will begin each class with a guided warm up to help strengthen their bodies and increase flexibility. Students will learn to slide, bounce, and roll as well as develop awareness of differences in speed, quality of movement, and musical timing. Register West Rogers Park Studio Neurodiverse Jazz/Tap This Jazz/Tap Combo class welcomes elementary-age dancers of all abilities, including those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, learning disabilities, or other developmental or neurological conditions, along with their peers and allies. Taught by a Rhythm Works Integrative Dance Certified Instructor, the class uses evidence-based teaching methods to promote self-empowerment, social skills, and motor development in an inclusive and supportive environment. Students will explore rhythm, timing, and coordination through tap steps and dynamic jazz movement sequences, fostering both physical and creative expression in a fun and engaging way. Register West Rogers Park Studio Broadway Jazz 1-3 In this class dancers build and strengthen their foundational understanding of musical theater dance, while working to advance their learning of musical theater history and style.
