Dancers & Musicians: Audition Now for Nutcracker 2022-2023!

It’s that time of year! We are pleased to announce auditions for our 2022-2023 production of The Nutcracker!  Our Nutcracker is an adapted non-traditional, non-sectarian story that is intended to be inclusive for all of our families. You do not have to be a dancer to participate- there are a wide variety of roles! Sign up for your audition today!

Who Can Audition

All dance Music House students enrolled in a dance class will automatically have an ensemble role. Auditions are only required if you would like a named role. Dance students ages 6 and up with at least one year of dance experience are encouraged to audition. Students wishing to audition should also be enrolled in Music House Dance Company.

Did you know that our Orchestra plays as the "Pit Orchestra" in our production of The Nutcracker? Audition to be a part of the excitement of playing in a dance performance!

The audition will function like a 15 minute lesson, rather than a test. An audition is a great experience, and preparation for a future of auditions (high school or otherwise!), interviews, performances, and more. We would love to provide our students with the preparation they need to go into (sometimes) scary situations by showing them that an audition doesn't have to be scary- it's just a learning experience!
