Ensembles Begin This September: Join our Orchestra, Rock or Choir Program!
Our ensembles begin the week of September 12, 2026, and we’d love for you to join!
Why participate in an ensemble when you’re already in private lessons? Because ensembles are an essential part of playing an instrument!
In ensembles, students build collaboration and listening skills, learn how to take ownership and responsibility over their individual part, and are part of a community. Plus, playing music together is FUN!
Music House Choir
Music House Choir is a fun, pop-oriented choir for students who want to join their voices with others! Combining elements of pop, a cappella, and show choir, Music House Choir is for any student who wants to learn more about blending, part-singing, sight-singing and how the voice works while experiencing the magic that happens when we sing together as one. Songs students have learned in the past include Taylor Swift medleys, Wicked Medleys, and kpop!
No prior experience or audition required to join Music House Choir!
Music House Choir Details:
Open to students age 7+ who can read words. No prior experience necessary!
Session: 9/11/2026 - 5/28/2027
Date/Time: Fridays, 5:30-6:30pm
Tuition: $96/month, 25% discount when combined with another Music House program of greater tuition
Beginning & Intermediate Orchestra
Our Orchestra Program is open to private lesson violin, viola, and cello students in Minuet No. 1 (Suzuki Book 1) or above!
Auditions take place on Saturday, August 29th and Sunday, August 30th at Humboldt Park Studio from 10am-12pm.
Beginning Orchestra Details:
Open to students in Suzuki Book 1 - 2 (Minuet 1 - Boccherini Minuet)
Session: Ongoing (next session begins after August auditions!)
Date/Time: Thursdays, 6-7pm
Tuition: $96/month, 25% discount when combined with another Music House program of greater tuition
Intermediate Orchestra Details:
Open to students in Suzuki Book 2 (Lully Gavotte) - Book 4 (Bach Double)
Session: Ongoing (next session begins after August auditions!)
Date/Time: Thursdays, 7-8pm

Intermediate & Advanced Rock Ensemble
Join our Intermediate orAdvanced Rock Ensembles at Humboldt Park Studio! Rock Band students learn how to play rock songs as they were meant to be played – with other musicians! Music House Rock Ensemble is a weekly group class that learns and performs rock songs as well as other band-voted songs.
Auditions take place on Sunday, August 30th at Humboldt Park Studio from 2:30-4:00 PM.
Intermediate Rock Ensemble Details: Students must be enrolled in private lessons or an MHAS rock program and age 8+ to participate.
Session: 9/14/26 - 5/26/27
Date/Time: Wednesdays, 7-8pm
Tuition: $96/month, 25% discount when combined with another Music House program of greater tuition
Advanced Rock Ensemble Details: Students must be enrolled in private lessons and age 10+ to participate
Session: 9/12/26 - 5/24/27
Date/Time: Mondays, 7-8pm
